Beautiful Jersey Wooly Rabbits
GC Fox Hill's Becky (Chestnut)
3 ARBA Legs
Sire: McKie's Puck (Chestnut)
Dam: Brian's Valentine (b/c Chestnut)
One of my first (and favorite) Jersey Woolies is this doe named Becky. I took her to the ARBA National Convention in Providence, RI in 2004. I was only 6 years old and Becky was only 4 months old. Becky took 2nd places in her class!!! Becky has thrown some beautiful kits and has been an excellent Mom, earning her GC certificate shortly after her second litter.
The one thing that is so funny about Becky,~ we have bred her 3 times, each time to a different colored buck. Each time she kindled ONE single kit and they have all been chestnuts. It is like a joke in our house "What did Becky have this time?" "Let me guess...1 chestnut kit! ". Here she is above with Beluga.
GC Josie's Ursula (Smoke Pearl Marten)
9 ARBA Legs (3 BOBs!!!)
Sire: Lyon Brook's Oliver (Seal)
Dam: Fox Hill's Martina (Sable Marten)
*MY FIRST GRAND CHAMPION JERSEY*
Ursula is a kit I kept out of one of my very first litters. She is gorgeous by all standards! She won BOV when she was only 3 months old and another at 4 months old and went on to get her GC certificate before she was even a year old! I couldn't be more proud of Ursula. She has done great and has won our hearts. Unfortunately she has never been able to reproduce for us after several failed attempts to kindle. SHe will always have a place in my heart and in our barn.
Legacy's Honey (Pointed White-Black)

7 ARBA Legs
*1 BOB and 2 BOSB*
Sire: Legacy's QT (black)
Dam: Legacy's Sugar Addict (pointed white-black)
Honey was graciously sold to me by Jaime Cipares. Honey was one of her top showing Pointeds and a very good producer. We got her in April of '07 and she finally gave us a cute pointed (I think it is a doe) in December of '07. Honey earned all her legs with Jaime, so she gets all the credit there. We love Honey for what she brings to our barn and also to our pointeds! She is an excellent mother, extremely sweet and an absolutely beautiful rabbit.
Josie's Beluga (Chestnut)

1 ARBA Leg
Sire: Serapic's Apollo (black otter)
Dam: Fox Hill's Becky (chestnut)
This was the first breeding I did with Apollo when we got him. Beluga is such a sweet girl and very pretty doe. She seems to lack superior wool quality, as Agoutis are known to do, especially when she is judged against the REW does. But she is very typey and a great mother. She is with a litter of 4 right now and they are all showing great potential. (When I took this picture, I had to take Beluga away from her kits- she kept popping her head up like she was looking around for them. It is still a cute head shot, so I decided to post it for now.)
Josie's Picasso (Broken Black Otter)

Sire: Sloan's Eddie (black)
Dam: Sloan's Dan D. Lion (broken black otter)
This doe is near perfect, except that she lacks color. She was the smallest in the litter and I really though she had something special. She is one of the typiest does in my barn. I plan on keeping Picasso to use for breeding. She has everything a breeder is looking for and she is tiny, too!
